Aeration is designed to reduce soil compaction, allowing more oxygen and nutrients to be absorbed into the root system of the plant. Compaction occurs primarily on the surface of the soil and can range from 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch deep, keeping water, nutrients and other factors out of the soil. Our aerating machines pull plugs from the turf area, creating pores that will allow moisture and nutrients to move freely through the soil layers.
Overseeding is the process of seeding over your existing lawn. By spreading grass seed after you have aerated, you give the seeds a great space to grow from. Overseeding leads to a thicker lawn that is both greener and healthier. With a healthier root system, you will see more vigorous growth and your lawn will be more resilient to drought.
